| | | The article analyzes the impact of social policy on the citizens’ health from the economic point of view, with the emphasis on various forms of social assistance such as health subsidies, unemployment payments, housing subsidies, food initiatives and social rental programs. According to Rosstat, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and Russian research, effectively developed social programs reduce the mortality rate, increase life expectancy, improve the physical and mental health of the citizens, and reduce social inequality.
