| | | The article provides a comparative study of innovations integration models in Southeast Asian countries using the examples of Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. The main levels of constructing such models are: technological, knowledge-based and organizational. Based on the analysis, the authors distinguish specific features of the formation and practical implementation of innovation policy in each state. Thailand is characterized by a policy-oriented model aimed at bridging the gap between developed and lagging sectors of the economy; Malaysia demonstrates a commitment to building a “quadruple helix” of cooperation between government, science, business and society, although it faces challenges in the field of cybersecurity. In Indonesia, efforts are focused on creating an innovation ecosystem through support for start-ups, but weak synergies between participants and the misalignment of research and development outputs with industry needs. Common to all the models described is their flexible nature, the active role of the state and focus on using internal potential. | | Key words: innovation, innovation integration, innovation policy, national innovation system, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Southeast Asia | | Pages: 135 - 141 |
