| | | The article focuses on the transformative role of the data economy as a systemic factor in the spatial development of the regions. It argues that data, acting as a key production resource, forms a different paradigm of territorial organization, reducing the influence of traditional locational factors. The author identifies and analyzes three main channels of impact produced by data: reducing the significance of geographic distance, generating new points of economic growth based on regional digital assets, and modifying approaches to territorial planning through the use of spatial data. Based on current statistical materials and critical analysis of existing assessment methods, the article develops conceptual approaches to quantitative assessment of the multiplier for regional economic systems. The methodological approach proposed takes into account industry specifics and spatial differentiation of meso-territories, providing more relevant results of applied research. | | Key words: data economy, development, region, multiplier effect, potential, digital transformation | | Pages: 98 - 102 |
