| | | The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the socio-economic infrastructure of the Russian Arctic, describes the key indicators of the regional development and identifies the major features related to the functioning of the social and economic spheres of the Arctic territories. The authors summarize the main problems of development of the Arctic regions: high level of attrition of production assets, uneven population settlement, climatic restrictions on infrastructure development. The indicators of the education system, healthcare, cultural, leisure and sports infrastructure are likewise brought into the picture.
