On the ways to develop digitalization in the Russian economy in the context of the international experience (Russia, St. Petersburg)
Digital technologies in the 21st century lie at the heart of strengthening the competitiveness of all countries. Moreover, the flexibility and adaptability of not only businesses but also individuals support the country’s digital progress. This is especially true in the present-day context, where flexibility and adaptability to new digital technologies can allow society to overcome the crisis. The article proposes an approach to determining the level of competitiveness of the Russian Federation in the digital environment through an analysis of the country’s position in digital activity ratings. The author provides comprehensive information on the impact of digital technologies at the micro- and macro-level, and also an overview of international ratings of digital competitiveness, by which the place of the Russian Federation can be tracked.
Key words: digitalization, sustainable growth, intangible assets, digital activity ratings, digitalization of the Russian economy
