| | | The modern education system presupposes that students who received diplomas have acquired both practical skills and skills of rational economic behavior. Financially literate people have a greater ability to increase their income and improve their quality of life. The authors conducted a sociological study using a survey among students, including foreign students, studying at the Kazan Federal University, in order to assess their level of financial literacy and find out their opinion on the teaching of disciplines related to the formation of universal educational competencies. The results of the study showed that on average the subjective assessment by students of their level of financial literacy is quite high. The majority of students are aware of their income and expenses and actively use modern methods of financial management. | | Key words: financial literacy, financial culture, universal educational competencies, educational process, Kazan Federal University | | Pages: 185 - 188 |
