| | | The article provides an analysis of the digital transformation of Russia over the period between 2014 and 2024 in the following key areas: Internet accessibility, online consumption, implementation of technology in business and public administration, innovative potential. The author identifies significant disproportions such the gap between leading regions and outsider regions reaches 3–5 times in terms of e-commerce, IT costs and patent activity. Despite high Internet coverage (91.5%), monetization of services lags behind (61.3% of online purchases), and the growth of IT investments has little effect on innovation. Critical problems that emerge here involve superficial implementation of ERP/CRM (20% of companies) and a shortage of IT personnel (8 graduates per 10 thousand population).
