| | | The article focuses on the features of the socio-economic development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation with an emphasis on strategic planning and comprehensive solutions to regional problems. The authors analyze measures of state support in the field of housing construction, as well as in social, cultural and sports infrastructure, and highlight a significant role of large investment projects and business participation in the development of the region. Particular attention is given to the tasks of retaining and attracting the population through the creation of comfortable living conditions, including the development of education and healthcare.
