Prospects for the formation of a mechanism for optimizing the activities of development institutions within the framework of ensuring the economic security of the Russian Federation (Russia, Moscow)

The article contains the development of proposals for the formation of a mechanism for optimizing state support measures in order to ensure the economic security of the state. It emphasizes that in the context of digital transformation, opportunities arise for the state to ensure the targeted nature of the distribution of budget funds through the introduction of digital mechanisms that provide complete information about the state of the national economy and its production capabilities, thus allowing government authorities to make the most effective and optimal decisions. The author shows that as part of the formation of a digital mechanism for ensuring economic security, development institutions fully reveal their potential as an economic policy instrument that overcomes “market failures” and other shortcomings of a market economy and prevents the development of significant regional or sectoral imbalances.
