On the issue of goods and products in economic scholarship (Russia, St. Petersburg)

The article attempts to introduce the concept of “commodity-product dualism” and visualize the scheme for the formation of equilibrium and overstocking. The author demonstrates the emergence of ambiguity in the concepts of “commodity” and “product” in the process of unification and cooperation of production that engender complex, multi-component production and supply chains within technologies and logistics, from the manufacturer to the final consumer.
