| | | The article focuses on the specificities of providing hotel services that are becoming relevant against the backdrop of changes in consumer preferences, technological innovations and the growth of domestic tourism in Russia. The authors demonstrate that present-day realities require the hotel business to adapt to new conditions, where traditional approaches that are effective in attracting foreign tourists become insufficient to meet the demands of the local guests. The growth of domestic tourism changes the perception of traditional attributes, stimulates the development of new forms of service, such as glamping, flotels and other innovative types of accommodation that offer unique experiences. At the same time, the legislative framework does not keep up with the rapid changes, creating difficulties in regulating new types of hotel services and hindering their full potential. Increased competition requires raising service quality standards and adapting to the increased expectations of guests, which exacerbates the problem of a shortage of qualified personnel. This forces hotels to introduce modern technologies and improve the professionalism of their staff, which is becoming the key condition for success in this area. | | Key words: hospitality, hotel services, hotel staff, hotel service standards, consumer preferences | | Pages: 172 - 175 |
