| | | he article substantiates the position that advanced information and communication technologies have not only a humanizing, but also a dehumanizing effect on the economy, both preventing and inspiring opportunism (using the problem of telephone fraud/vishing as an example). By analyzing statistical information and conducting a survey, an attempt is made to assess the vulnerability to vishing among Russians in comparison to the residents of the “traditionally capitalist world” and the Global South.
