| | | The article discusses one of the priorities of the Russian Federation foreign policy, which, according to the Concept of Foreign Policy of the Russian Federation adopted in 2023, includes the development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation with the CIS member states and further strengthening of the integration structures with Russian participation operating in the CIS. The author shows that one of the main principles of development of these relations is to ensure effective protection of the rights and interests of compatriots living in the CIS member states and to strengthen the interaction of these states in various areas of cooperation.
