| | | The article describes the methodological approach to evaluate the development of the regional economic system and its levels with regards to local specificity of its functioning. This methodology is based on the concept of diagnostics as applied to the regional development, which involves a processual approach and functional models of the regional systems, and presupposes the structural principle in evaluation of the efficacy of territorial economic complexes.
