| | | The article is dedicated to 100 years of Gosplan, presents the authors’ analytical methodology with regards to formation of planned and market economic models, and distinguish problems in the initial formation of the Russian economy. The authors develop a system of analysis of the Russian economic development based on essential target indices (wave-like development). Using data of Russian official statistics, the article demonstrates the evolution of achievements of the Soviet industry, with the planned economy as its major administrative principle.
