“Green” bonds as a tool of financing of ecological projects in the People’s Republic of China (Russia, St. Petersburg)
The article focuses on the “green” bonds as the most demanded tool of the long-term large-scale financing of Chinese ecological products. The author presents a brief history of formation of the “green” bonds market in China and globally, distinguishes specific features of these debt instruments and their types. The author describes the role of the People’s Bank of the People’s Republic of China and other key financial regulators in creation of the legal base for “green” bonds emission, describes the dynamics of the Chinese market of bonds, and formulates suggestions for its further development.
