| The article focuses on the current situation and prospective development of telecom operators that constitute the basis of information and communication technologies. Sustainable and dynamic development of telecommunications with the use of digitalization methods can serve an index of the country’s increasing competitiveness since the IT-sector determines the efficacy of digitalization in other branches of economy. Oil industry, currently undergoing the process of digital transformation, is one of the largest customers of telecommunication services. Unique informational products are developed specifically for oil industry, as well as complex projects and methodologies of innovative services.
