| The article presents scholarly approaches to complex activization of interregional connectedness as a key link of the current stage of transformation of the economic space. The major factor for the realization of this condition requires reaching a higher level of development of transportation and social infrastructures, which in their own turn facilitate diversification of the Gross Regional Product, economic growth and higher well-being of the population both on the corresponding territory and on the national level at large. The author develops a conceptual model to increase the interregional economic connectedness of Russian territories. The model is based on the measures of state politics that are mostly suitable to give a necessary impulse to territorial and regional development with the emphasis on higher interregional and economic connectedness. | Key words: economic space, regional connectedness, regions, interregional ties, cluster, transportation framework, infrastructure | Pages: 152 - 157 |
