| The article discusses the impact produced by errors in forecasting monetary flows upon the accuracy of evaluation with regards to the efficacy of investment and innovation projects. The author summarizes and systematizes specific features of such projects. For piecewise linear approximation of the pure monetary flow, the author deduces analytic dependencies with regard to the relative errors of the key indices of economic efficacy of investment projects from the forecasting of the speed of its change. The article distinguishes factors of accuracy for the forecasting and investigates the dependency of errors in the evaluation of economic efficacy indices from the length of the project exploitation period. The author evaluates the degree of impact produced by the forecasting errors upon the reliability of various efficacy indices and distinguishes an index most sensitive to forecasting errors. With regard to innovation and investment projects, the article discusses the dependency between the accuracy of economic efficacy evaluation and the period of moral deterioration of an innovative product. | Key words: innovation and investment projects, indices of economic efficacy, monetary flows, forecasting errors | Pages: 128 - 131 |
