The article focuses on a number of specific features in the scholarly description of history, as well as on the use of logic and argumentation in the discussion on the cessation of the USSR and creation of CIS. The author distinguishes the cessation of the USSR in the broader as well as in the narrower sense, it’s political, ideological and communicative features.
